Anthea has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Les Dérivés Résiniques & Terpéniques (France) to manufacture a range of terpene derivatives in India.

Work has commenced in full swing on a greenfield facility in Roha, near Mumbai, which will manufacture Anthamber and 3-Methyl-3-Penten-2-One.
March 2008
Anthea purchases Crown Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., a reputed manufacturer of speciality chemicals. The Crown facility in Tarapur will be used to produce a range of speciality aldehydes for use in the Fragrance and Flavour industry.
May 2008
Construction has commenced on a brand new manufacturing plant within the Crown facility which will produce a range of aldehydes.
